For fans still holding on to old Big East rivalries, they likely won't be pleased with where Donnie Freeman has transferred.

The soon-to-be-junior forward, after two years with Syracuse, has transferred to St. John's.

The two universities were Big East rivals until the Orange joined the ACC in 2013.

Freeman averaged 16.5 points across 23 games (21 starts) with Syracuse this past season. He shot 47.4% from the floor and averaged 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
