Since the Syracuse men's basketball job opened, South Florida (USF) coach Bryan Hodgson has been mentioned as a leading candidate to become the new head coach of the Orange.

However, it looks like he's no longer in the running.

According to a post on "X" from The Field of 68, Hodgson has turned down the Syracuse job. His USF squad made the NCAA Tournament as an 11th-seed and will play sixth-seeded Louisville.
