Syracuse women's team gets up-close look at NBA championship trophy

This had to have been an enjoyable outing for head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and the Syracuse women's basketball team. Rick Brunson, an assistant coach for the New York Knicks and father of star Jalen Brunson, spent his childhood in Syracuse and brought the trophy for a visit on Thursday.

“I tell everybody I’m from Syracuse,” Brunson said. “When people say, ‘Are you from Boston?’ I say, “No, I’m from Syracuse, New York.’ I’m proud of Syracuse.”
