Talk about dedication to his team and sport.

Five-star freshman wide receiver Calvin Russell can't participate in spring drills because of a torn left Achilles, but that doesn't mean he isn't staying active in practice.

Just watch him wheel around on his knee scooter, very much a part of the team.

We don't know a timetable for his return, but teammate Steve Angeli can provide advice and inspiration.

Angeli tore his left Achilles in the Orange's fourth game of the 2025 season and is back throwing at practice this spring. It is unclear whether he will participate in Syracuse's spring game on Saturday.
