Kiyan Anthony has been a key contributor in his true freshman season with the Syracuse men's basketball team this season

Anthony is averaging 9.8 points per game on 43.6% shooting from the floor in 17 games (two starts) this season. He's also pulled in 1.8 rebounds and dished 1.2 assists per game.

Throughout the season, Anthony's father and Orange royalty, Carmelo Anthony, has been present to assist.

According to a recent interview from Ashley Wenskoski of CNY Central, Kiyan Anthony has said his father has flown out the day of games. The two Anthony's have worked out together prior to several games.

Kiyan Anthony said in the interview he "feels like he plays better" every time Carmelo Anthony works with him.
