The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy, concluded earlier this week.

It was an overall successful Olympics for the U.S., who finished the games with 33 medals: 12 golds, 12 silvers and nine bronzes. Their 33 total medals were second behind Norway (41).

On the call for most of NBC's broadcast of the Olympics was Syracuse alum Mike Tirico, who wrapped up the Olympics with a solid message.
