The Syracuse Orange boast one of the best men's lacrosse teams in the country, which currently ranks second in the nation behind the Big Ten's Maryland.

The preseason watch list for the Tewaaraton Award, which is annually awarded to the most outstanding men's and women's lacrosse player in the country, was recently announced.

Syracuse had four players on the watch list: senior defenseman Billy Dwan III, senior midfielder Michael Leo, junior face-off John Mullen and senior attacker Joey Spallina.
