The Syracuse women's hockey team played the first of a best-of-three-game series against Penn State in semifinal round of the Atlantic Hockey America women's Tournament.

It wasn't a good showing for the Orange, who lost 7-0 to the Nittany Lions.

Syracuse will look to even the series in Game 2 of the semifinal series at 3 p.m. ET on Feb. 28.
