There have been a lot of names floated out for the open Syracuse men's basketball job over the last several days and one of the leading candidates recently commented on it.

South Florida (USF) coach Bryan Hodgson, who has been floated out as one of the leading candidates, was asked about the rumors Monday and if it's provided a distraction for USF, who will play in the NCAA Tournament as an 11-seed.

"There is no distraction," Hodgson said. "It is great to be wanted."
