Though the game was over a week ago now, the 33-27 loss to Oklahoma at home showed off the difference between a good and a great SEC team. 

What are the particular attributes of the separation? Where things stand, the turnovers are the difference in the game.  Tennessee is 16-3 in its last three seasons at Neyland Stadium. Losing in front of the home crowd, with two interceptions from Joey Aguilar, was the equation that put the Vols out of the playoff conversation.   

There are currently seven teams ranked above the Vols in both the standings and the college football playoff rankings.  Tennessee's wins against Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Kentucky have just three combined wins in the conference this season.
