The Texas A&M Aggies host 1-10 FCS foe Samford in what many are downplaying as a tune-up pushover before the regular-season finale where the No. 3 team in the country travels to Austin for the first time since rival Texas' adoption into the SEC.

But ... it's worth remembering that failed A&M coach Jimbo Fisher was once a college quarterback at Samford, where he still owns numerous school records. Fisher played his senior season in 1987 with the Bulldogs and was the DIII National Player of the Year.
