The No. 13 Texas Longhorns are on a layoff until New Year's Eve when they face No. 18 Michigan in the Citrus Bowl, allowing them to tune in to Kyle Field in College Station to hate-watch their arch rival No. 7 Texas A&M Aggies in their College Football Playoff First Round matchup with No. 10 Miami.

In a barn-burner of a game that saw swirling winds affect multiple missed field goals, the Hurricanes got the upset win, sending the home faithful moaping with a 11-2 record, but two-game losing streak.

Various Longhorns, past and present, took to social media to chirp the Aggies' failure, adding to what was already settled in the regular-season finale that the Horns won over A&M by double-digits.

Now-NFL running back Jonathon Brooks and current All-American edge rusher Colin Simmons kept their comments brief, but the cockiness is there.
