The UConn women's basketball team has an opportunity to reinforce its case as the most dominant women's basketball program in college sports.
The Huskies have had a record six perfect seasons in program history, capped off with NCAA Tournament championships.
In a recent appearance on ESPN's First Take, former Tennessee women's basketball player and current ESPN basketball analyst Andraya Carter predicted UConn to earn its seventh undefeated season in program history this year.
If the Huskies are able to accomplish that feat, it would be their first undefeated season in 10 years, since the 2015-16 Breanna Stewart-led UConn squad.
