UConn made a lovely gesture Wednesday night before the tipoff of the Huskies' game against Creighton.

The school held a moment of silence for Kelly Dix, the mother of Creighton senior guard Josh Dix. She passed away Feb. 4 after a 33-month fight with cancer.

She was 46 and the mother of four children.
