Congratulations to UConn's Sarah Strong, who reached 1,000 career points with the Huskies on Monday night in their game against Notre Dame in Storrs, Conn.

She became the third-fastest player in UConn history to reach the milestone, accomplishing the feat in 59 games. The sophomore stands behind only program legends Maya Moore and Paige Bueckers, who needed 55 games to hit the magic number.

History was made on a 3-pointer with 7:31 remaining in the second quarter.
