Washington Huskies senior center Franck Kepnang entered this season with a series of injuries that limited his time on the court.

Before this season, Kepnang had played 32 games in three seasons prior.

Entering Tuesday, Kepnang had played 27 games this year and was averaging 6.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and a career-high 2.1 blocks per game.

In the Huskies' 79-72 win against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Kepnang missed his first game of the season.

Kepnang had been unable to practice in recent days due to a stress reaction in his leg but had been able to suit up for games. Apparently, the reaction got to the point where Kepnang was unable to play against Rutgers.
