Washington Huskies head football coach Jedd Fisch is set for his third year with UW this upcoming season and sixth year as a head coach at the college level overall.
In a post on "X" on Monday, Fisch wished happy birthday to the first college head coach he worked under and one of the most legendary coaches in the recent college football history: Steven Spurrier.
Fisch graduated from Florida in 1998 and began his college coaching career as a graduate assistant with the Gators in 1999. Spurrier coached Florida from 1990-2001, where he led the program to a national championship in 1996 and six SEC championships.
