The Washington Huskies men's basketball team was unable to pull off an upset in its game against the No. 7 Nebraska Cornhuskers on Jan. 21.
The Huskies lost to the Cornhuskers 76-66. Washington guard Wesley Yates III was one of the many players absent for the team.
Yates' absence was curious. He had returned for the two games prior after missing five due to a broken bone in his wrist.
According to the broadcast for the game, Yates was out against Nebraska due to tweaking his ankle in practice two days before the contest.
It was another unfortunate break for the Huskies, who have been hit in a big way with injuries this season.
Washington will next be in action against the Oregon Ducks at noon on Jan. 25 at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle.
