The Washington Huskies football team opted to go an interesting direction with the coaching staff this offseason. The team will be going at this season without an offensive coordinator.

Instead, head coach Jedd Fisch will continue to call offensive plays and JP Losman will take over former OC Jimmie Dougherty's additional responsibility coaching the quarterbacks.

The Huskies also brought in former Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh as a senior offensive assistant. The team's official account on "X" highlighted the new addition to the coaching staff Wednesday.
