Raheem Morris is set to take over as defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. He fills in for beloved defensive play caller Robert Saleh.

Morris' time as an assistant coach twice elevated him to head coach, with a stint as the HC for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. While his run as a head coach has not yielded a ton of success, he certainly knows the game well. Now he will run a defense that fared well for much of the 2025 season.
