It took a minute for the running game to mesh for the Chicago Bears. 

Once it did, everything started coming together. The Bears ended up finishing in the top five for rushing yards per game. D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai led the way in the backfield. 

One stat that showed how good the Bears were on the ground came out recently. Chicago had the fifth-most yards per carry on first down, at five.
