Broncos Defense Suddenly Has REAL Competition Heading Into OTAs

Reading through the SI OTA depth chart breakdown and honestly this Broncos roster feels deeper than it has in years.

Everybody’s focused on Bo Nix entering Year 3 and adding Jaylen Waddle, but I’m also really interested to see how guys like JK Dobbins, Jonah Coleman and Justin Joly fit into the offense once OTAs start.

Defensively there’s a ton of competition too with Tyler Onyedim, Sai’vion Jones, Jordan Turner, Karene Reid, Miles Scott, JL Skinner and Devon Key all battling for bigger roles.

That’s usually the sign of a team building something sustainable instead of relying on just a few stars. We’ll talk more about it on the podcast next week once OTAs get rolling. Be sure to tune in, Broncos Country!
