With the news that ex-Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has withdrawn from the Browns HC search, it throws a bit if a wrench into Cleveland's process.

McDaneil was one of two names on their list of six candidates who were scheduled for second interviews, who helped Cleveland fulfill the Rooney Rule. Nate Scheelhaase, who can't interview until Monday at the earliest, is the second. 

Without McDaniel, the Browns will have to find another external diverse — minority and/or female — candidated to interview for the job.

It's a small speedup they'll have to overcome. In the meantime are you happy or disappointed McDaniel is now out of the mix?
