The Tampa Bay Buccaneers needed an edge rusher, and it looks like they have one.
NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reported late Thursday after day that Tampa is expected to sign defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad.
Last season, Muhammad had 11 sacks for the Detroit Lions, which was four more than anybody on the Bucs had.
Muhammad’s 53 pressures would have ranked second behind Diaby, but for context, Diaby played 301 more snaps than Mumammed, who was a rotational player in Detroit.
It wouldn’t be a surprise for Muhammad to have a bigger role in Tampa.
