The Tampa Bay Buccaneers know their special teams unit must be better in 2026, and the team took a step toward doing that by signing safety Miles Killebrew.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN first reported Thursday afternoon that the Bucs had inked Killebrew to a one-year, $1.8 million deal.
Killebrew has been in the league for almost a decade, starting his career with the Detroit Lions (2016-20) and then moving onto the Pittsburgh Steelers (2021-25).
The best season of Killebrew’s career came in 2023, where he was named first-team All-Pro on special teams.
Killebrew played all five of his seasons for Pittsburgh under Danny Smith, who the Bucs named their special teams coach this offseason.
