The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have filled two more of their coaching vacancies, promoting assistant defensive backs coaches Rashad Johnson and Tim Atkins to cornerbacks coach and safeties coach, respectively.
Johnson has been with Todd Bowles since Bowles took over in 2022, starting as a defensive assistant and becoming assistant secondary coach in 2023.
Atkins has been with the Bucs since Bruce Arians took over as head coach in 2019, spending the first three seasons as defensive quality control coach and then becoming assistant secondary coach in 2022.
The Bucs finished 27th in the league this past season in opposing passing yards per game.
