Mike Evans is no longer part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and George Kittle says he is part of the reason.
On an episode of "Bussin with the Boys" from Tuesday, the San Francisco 49ers tight end revealed how he helped sway Evans to leave Tampa Bay.
“One of the biggest things I said is that the Niners organization puts so much money back into the players and how they take care of us, how we travel, how our facility is ran," Kittle said. "(49ers CEO Jed York) does such a good job of putting money back into the team so that we can be at our best."
Kittle then said that he feels the 49ers are "ran like an NFL team is supposed to.
“If you ask a 10-year-old kid like, ‘What would you expect an NFL team to do?’ We do all that plus more," he said. "So, I kind of just sold him on the organization.”
The deal Evans signed was for $60 million over three years.
