Tampa Bay Buccaneers' two-time Super Bowl champion defensive tackle and LSU great Anthony "Booger" McFarland was named to the Senior Bowl's Hall of Fame Class of 2026, the organization announced Wednesday.

The Winnsboro, Louisiana, native played for the Buccaneers from 1999 through 2006, before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts, where he spent one season before retiring.

"I was fortunate enough to play almost a decade in the NFL, and it all got started in Mobile, Alabama," McFarland, 47, said in a Senior Bowl press release Wednesday. "I am truly blessed to be recognized by the Senior Bowl and everything that it represents for guys starting their journey to the NFL."

A four-year starter for LSU (1995-1999), McFarland netted numerous awards during his Tigers tenure: SEC Freshman of the Year, All-SEC (1996, 1998), and first-team All-America (1998). The Bucs drafted him in the first round (15th overall) in 1999.

McFarland joined former quarterbacks Jason Campbell and Harry Agganis, former coach Norv Turner and retired safety Roman Harper in the Senior Bowl's Class of 2026.

The five inductees and three Rookie of the Year honorees will be enshrined in a ceremony in Point Clear, Alabama, on Sunday, May 3.

The rookie class includes New Orleans Saints QB Tyler Shough, Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Grey Zabel, and Denver Broncos running back RJ Harvey.

McFarland currently serves as an analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network, where he's covered college football and the NFL since 2014.
