A linebacker that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reportedly brought in last week is staying with the Atlanta Falcons.

It was ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler who reported last week that Falcons free agent LB DeAngelo Malone was visiting Tampa Bay, and it was Fowler who reported Wednesday, April 1, that Malone was coming back to Atlanta on a one-year deal.

Along with his play at linebacker, Malone contributed on special teams, which was an area of concern for the Bucs in 2025.
