Jon Gruden and others have suggested the Tampa Bay Buccaneers go after Las Vegas Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby, and per an NFL Insider, Crosby will likely be available.

Although Crosby is still under contract with Las Vegas until the end of the 2029 season, Jay Glazer said on an interview with Yahoo Sports Daily Wednesday that he doesn’t see Crosby being with the Raiders to the 2026 season.

Tampa Bay could use an edge rusher, so Crosby apparently being available is good news.

The bad news is that, to get Crosby, Tampa or anybody else would have to give up a lot to get him.

“Probably more than Micah (Parsons),” Glazer said. “So, the day it happened, no less than twenty teams called me and asked ‘dude, is this real? Can we get him? What’s it for?’ I’m like, ‘we’re not there yet, but yes, it’s real.'”

To get Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys in December, the Green Bay Packers gave up two first-round picks and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark.

It’s up to Bucs GM Jason Licht if that’s the type of deal he wants to make.
