The Los Angeles Chargers have been knocking on the doorstep of playoff success for a good portion of the Justin Herbert Era of quarterback play. They look to have added a catalyst for postseason success in offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.

A common belief for some is that the more times you reach the postseason the better your chances of success. That's not necessarily guaranteed but it was true for Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.
