The Los Angeles Chargers have bolstered the interior of their defensive line, agreeing to terms with veteran defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson.
Tomlinson’s agents confirmed the deal shortly after the experienced lineman was released earlier this week by the Arizona Cardinals.
Tomlinson spent the 2025 season in Arizona after joining the Cardinals following his departure from the Cleveland Browns.
Despite being on the roster for just one season, he remained a steady presence on the defensive front, starting all 17 games. During that stretch, Tomlinson recorded 26 tackles and one sack while playing a key role in anchoring the run defense.
The 31-year-old brings a wealth of experience to Los Angeles. Before his time in Cleveland, Tomlinson spent two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and began his NFL career with the New York Giants, where he played his first four seasons and established himself as a reliable interior defender.
With Tomlinson’s experience and physical presence in the trenches, the Chargers add another dependable option up front as they continue shaping their defensive rotation heading into the upcoming season.
