World was the Duck’s starting left tackle in 2025 but unfortunately suffered a torn ACL during the team’s Peach Bowl loss to Indiana. Since the ACL tear was so late in the season he will likely sit out the entire 2026 season and the ACL injury will hurt his draft stock. Right now experts are saying he is a day three guy. The Chargers don’t need a starting tackle, but they do need to build their depth in order to avoid another season like the 2025 campaign where either tackle spot was a carousel of bodies all year long. Don’t be surprised if the Chargers use a day three pick on a tackle just to make sure there’s not a similar situation in 2026.
