The Los Angeles Chargers are playing their best football at the right time. The Chargers knocked of the Dallas Cowboys in dominant fashion, 34-17.

The win is impressive not because of the offensive performance, which was strong in its own right. The Chargers impressed on the defensive side.

Heading into the game the Cowboys had averaged over 29 points per contest on the offensive end. And while Dallas started fast, over the course of the game the Chargers defense throttled the Cowboys offense.
