New Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel is different. Some might call him eccentric.

McDaniel's personality differs from most NFL coaches, but being different is not always a bad thing. In regard to on-field results, Chargers fans would love to see a different product in the playoffs.

McDaniel's different personality comes with better offense. The Chargers will likely get a scheme that is difficult for opposition to defend against but simple to execute for starting quarterback Justin Herbert and the offense. Players will likely know what they need to do to be successful.
