The Jacksonville Jaguars have held a virtual meeting with CJ Daniels, a wide receiver from the University of Miami.
Daniels, a 6-foot-2, 205-pounder, ended last season with 557 yards and seven touchdowns on 50 receptions, helping Miami to the national championship game.
He’s an example of how college football is in the 2020s in that he played for three different programs over six season. Daniels spent the bulk of his college career at Liberty (2020-23), where he eclipsed 1,000 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in the 2023 season.
From there, he transferred to LSU, where he went for 480 yards on 42 receptions (no touchdowns) in what turned out to be his lone season in Baton Rouge.
The Jags have 11 picks in the draft, which will take place in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
