Former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line coach Phil Rauscher is moving up in the college coaching ranks.
University of Georgia football coach Kirby Smart announced Rauscher's promotion to a position held since 2022 by Stacey Searels.
In 2025, Rauscher assisted Searels, who now will serve as an offensive analyst for the Bulldogs.
"Phil has been a tremendous asset to our staff and players," Smart said in press release Tuesday. "He has earned this opportunity through his work ethic, technical expertise and his ability to connect with our players. We’re excited about the future of our offensive line under his leadership."
Rauscher, who has coached 16 years in college and the NFL, also was the Jaguars' run game coordinator. He left Jacksonville in 2024 for Athens.
