Jacksonville Jaguars punter Logan Cooke was named the AFC's Player of the Week for special teams on Wednesday following the team's 36-20 upset win over the Broncos in Denver last Sunday.
Cooke was among the Week 16 honorees from the AFC, joining cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. of the Houston Texans on defense and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrows on offense.
A first-time POW awardee, Cooke had six punts versus the Broncos to help the Jaguars get their 11th victory of the season and their sixth straight.
With four punts inside the 20-yard line, two of those inside the 10 and one inside the 5-yard line, Cooke averaged 52 yards on the day, with an NFL-leading 63 yarder.
An All-Pro in 2024, Cooke, 30, has been with the Jags for eight years, since he was drafted in the seventh round in 2018 out of Mississippi State.
