The Packers met with William & Mary CB Jalen Jones at the FCS Showcase, among other teams. The talk with the Packers included how the practices the scouts attended back in the summer. Jones had 12 PDs and 39 total tackles on the year.

The two-time FCS All-American (2024, 2025) was also a three-time CAA All-American (2023–2025), a two-time Buck Buchanan Award finalist, honoring the top defensive player in the FCS (2024, 2025), as well as the CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year (2022) and a Jerry Rice Award finalist (2022), presented to the nation’s top FCS freshman. He is widely regarded for his exceptional football IQ, elite ball skills, and explosive athleticism developed through his track and field background.
