The New Orleans Saints finished the season strong with four wins in their final five games. A fellow divisional team made the leap the Saints are hoping to make in the offseason.

The Carolina Panthers made the postseason this year with young quarterback Bryce Young at the helm. The Saints are hoping for a similar result though with a better win-loss record than the Panthers' 8-9 finish.

What the Panthers did last night, however, nearly knocking off the Los Angeles Rams in a 34-31 shootout is exactly the kind of battle the Saints want to be in next year.

New Orleans has the quarterback to do it. We'll see if the team can get it done next year.
