Former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is heading to the AFC championship game after the Denver Broncos knocked off the Buffalo Bills on Saturday in overtime, 33-30.
While Payton is doing well in Denver, it was in New Orleans where he established himself as one of the best coaches in the NFL. Payton teamed up with Saints legend and soon-to-be Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees to bring a Super Bowl trophy back to Louisiana for the 2009 NFL season.
Though he's not with New Orleans now, many Saints fans are likely rooting for his team in the postseason. Payton and the Broncos will face the winner of the Houston Texans and New England Patriots next week for a trip to another Super Bowl.
