Kenneth Gainwell turned out to be a one-and-done with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the running back agreed to a two-year, $14-million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.

Gainwell was the Steelers’ MVP in 2025 after signing as a free agent. He rushed for 537 yards and five touchdowns on 114 carries and caught 73 passes for 486 yards and three TDs.
