A familiar face is on the move, as former Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce has found a new home.

Pierce agreed to a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, giving the former Texans starter a chance to reset his career in a new environment.

Pierce, 26, was a fourth-round pick by Houston in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Florida and quickly became a fan favorite during his rookie season. 

While his time in Houston didn’t end the way many hoped, Pierce’s toughness and early production won’t soon be forgotten by Texans fans.

A change of scenery could be exactly what he needs to rediscover his impact at the NFL level.
