The Houston Texans offered the opportunity for hometown football players to visit their team. One of them starred at Houston area high school Galena Park North Shore.

The Texans reportedly hosted Shad Banks who starred for North Shore during its reign of 6A dominance in Texas high school football. Banks carried his high school success into college where he had 94 tackles to lead UTSA at linebacker.
