There was a lot of outrage last night about the Titans not addressing the interior offensive line on day two of the NFL draft. They obviously went with linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. instead of going with a guard or a center.
I get it. IOL is definitely a big need, but there's a couple things here that I think are worth mentioning.
For starters, the Titans were 3-14 last season. They have a ton of needs. And one of them was a really fast running mate for Cedric Gray in Robert Saleh's defense. They were never going to be able to address all of their needs on day two, especially because they only had one pick.
There's also the internal options, which are probably being overlooked by most fans, but I do think internally the Titans are very high on someone like Jackson Slater.
