According to Wikipedia "the NFL Competition Committee is a senior group established in 1968 that reviews and proposed changes to game rules, roster regulations, technology, and safety protocols. It is comprised of owners, executives, and head coaches, they gather data and feedback from all 32 teams to recommend rule changes to NFL ownership, requiring 75% approval for adoption." Kevin O'Connell is one of the newest members of the committee. In order to be added to the committee you must be directly appointed by the commissioner of the NFL, big congratulations in order for O'Connell.
