The Minnesota Vikings have several needs to fill before the 2026 season to contend for the NFC North or the NFL playoffs next season. Departures at linebacker and safety make the offseason interesting. Certainly, the team was not good enough at quarterback to make the playoffs in 2025.

Where the team improves is still to be seen. Whether or not one position makes any more impact than another is up for debate. Potential draft pick Kenyon Sadiq could make an impact at tight end at a position that isn't necessarily a need.
