For many, the answer to that question is a simple one: J.J. McCarthy transforms into an NFL franchise quarterback and validates his NFL draft positioning from a couple offseasons ago. Then again, others may opt in a different direction.

Could a wide receiver or running back emerge to take pressure off of Justin Jefferson? Perhaps an offensive lineman could become a quality starter.
