The family of Country Legend Toby Keith accepted an award posthumously this weekend at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

The Awards gala celebrates the men and women of Western Literature, Film, and Art. Since 1965, the foundation has focused on preserving the Western culture and way of life.

Toby Keith's daughter, Shelley Covel, wife, Tricia Covel, and son, Stelen Covel, accepted the award.
