The Australian-born Ky Hamilton is set to return to the dirt this evening, in a statement made by the bull rider.

Ky Hamilton has not been on a bull in competition since the 2025 National Finals Rodeo. That night, on Dec. 12, he injured his right knee riding Pro Rodeos' Cross Eyed Kelly.

While Hamilton has been recovering from his torn ACL at home in Stephenville, Texas, he has been riding his own bulls in practice.

"I've been getting on my bulls just this past two weeks. I've only been on about six practice bulls, and it was kind of getting to the point where I just needed to be somewhere and getting on different bulls,"

While he believes that getting back on the road and competing will be a good move, he understands that injuries can happen again, so he remains cautious yet optimistic.

His First stop back on the PRORODEO tour will be the Caldwell Night Rodeo this week.

It will be great to see you back in the arena, Ky!
